  was founded in 2006 by Mr. Gabriel Perel, Managing Director and the controlling shareholder of Odin, and a group of private international investors; most of them are well known families in their origin countries such as Carlo De Benedetti from De Benedetti Group and Jeffrey Swartz of the Timberland Group.

Mr. Perel was formerly an Executive Vice President at IDB, Israel's largest conglomerate, an Executive Vice President of Clal Insurance and the CEO of Clal Finance.
